Management Information System (MIS)
(MIS) Branch is responsible for implementing and maintaining an organization's technology infrastructure. Organizations rely on a central information processing system to support efficient data management and communications.
An IT Incharge research and indicate problems, plan solution, recommends software and systems and coordinates development to meet department needs or other requirements. To achieve overall efficiency in various fields of administration of CBM by using Information Technology in the form of electronic computing devices, latest software, etc. so as to provide a dynamic and transparent administration.
Functions:
The IT Branch carries out the below-listed functions dutifully so as to achieve the above-set objectives with utmost effectiveness and efficiency:
- To reduce overall administrative response time for various tasks.
- To implement the computerized system in all branches.
- To reduce the total cost of operations for the CBM.
- To establish a knowledge repository for various processes.
- Plan a system flow from the ground up.
- Write technical requirements from a critical phase.
- Interact with designers to understand software limitations.
- Deploy the completed systems.
- Documents requirements or contribute to user manuals.
- Procuring the hardware and peripherals necessary to operate various computerized systems through tendering and providing it to the end-users.
- Procuring the pre-printed stationery necessary for various computerized systems through tendering and providing it to the end-users.
- Organizing training of the employees and officers for subjects related to Information Technology and computerization.
- Archiving the data and information of various computerized processes to reproduce it and provide it to the end-user on their demand.
- Providing support and maintenance to various hardware and peripherals and to the systems developed at CBM.

- Maintaining the official Facebook of CBM
- To upload necessary information and e-tenders.
